GotNoyPi's Korean Beef Ribs
It's Sunday and as usual, I am left alone at home while my loving wife goes to work. It's been a routine for me to do some home stuff such as doing laundry, doing some house cleaning but my favorite of all is cooking! Since I have such a lot of time to spare -- I usually just stay at home on a Sunday, I try out different recipes to cook. Last week, I've cooked Chopsuey and Roasted Lechon with out the stick and charcoals (I'll try to do an entry for this sometime). This week, I'll be doing one of my favorite recipes -- Korean Beef Ribs GotNoyPi Stlye.
Ingredients:
2 lbs beef ribs
4 tablespoon brown sugar
4 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoon sesame oil
1/2 tablespoon chili flakes
1/ cup rice vinegar
4 cloves of garlic, crushed and minced
Procedure:
Rub the brown sugar onto the beef ribs and let it marinate for 10 mins. While waiting, Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, chili flakes, rice vinegar and garlic. When beef ribs is ready, arrange the meat in a pressure cooker and pour over the mixture. Pressure cook the beef ribs for 35 mins. Once done, transfer the beef ribs into a oven proof dish and set it at 400F to caramelize the sugar. Cook for 15-20 mins. While waiting, boil the remaining liquid from the pressure cooker until liquid thickens and is reduced to half. Once the beef ribs is ready, pour liquid over the ribs, sprikle it with green onion leaves and/or sesame seed. Serve immediately with steamed rice!
